It was the afternoon after New Years Day, 2021 still carrying its fresh aroma as everyone gathered with much anticipation at a beautiful barn in the countryside. Their wedding took place in their sweet hometown–Fort Collins, Colorado.
Nick + Mac had waited a long time for this day, and after replanning their entire wedding a few times due to the unforeseen challenges of 2020, they couldn’t have been more grateful to finally be living their wedding day intimately with just their wedding party + families.
Their gorgeous gal Penny was also in attendance for their special day.
Although it was the middle of a Colorado winter, the sun took her welcomed invitation for the outdoor ceremony + warmth poured over everyone.
After the ceremony, the two shared some private vows in the field as the sun set over the horizon.
Everyone warmed up inside with cranberry mules + a farm-to-table dinner (which they insisted everyone else should eat first).
Their talented friend Peter sang a cover of “This Must Be The Place” by the Lumineers.
Nick + Mac’s love has weathered the storms of many years + persevered through even the most difficult circumstances. They both pursue incredibly meaningful lives that reach people in selfless ways while also being the goofiest, down-to-earth couple. This day was more than just a celebration of marriage–it was a reminder that building an unbreakable friendship with your partner makes an unbreakable marriage, that relationships are the most important thing we have, and that there is always a reason to have hope.
