Narissa + Phil’s Colorado wedding day came exactly one year later than originally planned, after postponing their celebration due to Covid the previous year. But, if anything, it only brought more excitement as gathered with all their favorite people in one of the most beautiful destinations in the country; Garden of the Gods resort in Colorado Springs.

They travelled from their home in Chicago to their hand-picked destination, meeting family + friends who came from all over the country to celebrate. They had held an intimate ceremony in their backyard on their actual wedding day one year before, so everyone was overjoyed to congratulate Narissa + Phil in person at their official ceremony.

Once Phil actually got to see Narissa in the dress she’d been holding onto for two years, he could barely keep it together + adorably exclaimed, “I’m blushing you’re so beautiful!”.

Everyone gathered for some pre-ceremony cocktails at the resort, then made their way to a poolside ceremony site almost too good to believe, overlooking the iconic view of the Garden of the Gods + Pike’s Peak, while a string quartet serenaded the crowd.

After sharing heartfelt personal vows, Narissa + Phil’s first act of marriage was blending their own one-of-a-kind wine.

As the sun set behind the glorious mountains, everyone was wined + dined all evening, beginning with a raw bar + gorgeous craft cocktails.

The newlyweds even got to sneak into the reception before anyone else to admire the romantic + elegant array of floral arrangements, tea lights, and sparkling flatware.

Guests were treated to a variety of action stations for dinner where gourmet dishes were whipped up on demand for each guest as they watched.

After some sweet toasts, Narissa + Phil performed a choreographed first dance for everyone to “Free Fallin'” covered by John Mayer, to kick off the rest of the party. It was an unforgettable night worth waiting the extra year for, and they both radiated that newlywed glow all over again.
