The drive to Double Diamond X Ranch in Cody, Wyoming is full of timeless western charm felt anywhere near Yellowstone country. Towering mountains embrace both sides of the winding road through what feels like the wildest place on earth.

Natalie + Jake’s story begins the night before their first day of college at University of Wyoming. Jake was getting ready to go check out campus + was waiting to take the elevator when the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen stepped out of the elevator + stopped him in his tracks. He had to think of something to start a conversation, so naturally, he asked if his backpack straps were even. And that will go down as the moment they met.

A few years went by + one day they reconnected at a summer festival. Realizing they both had just gotten puppies, they decided to plan a puppy play date. The sparks were flying, so they planned a few dates for themselves, and quickly made things official after that.

A few years later, Jake was planning to pop the question on a snowy March day on one of the first places they hiked together. Mother Nature had other plans, and a snow storm trapped them in the house for a few days. Once they could finally get out, Jake got down on one knee after an afternoon of shoe shoeing. As Fin + Paisley danced around them + the snow started falling, Natalie said yes.

As lovers of the great outdoors, no place seemed more perfect to tie the knot than the most epic spot in Wyoming.

After they made their vows + became husband + wife, Natalie + Jake were showered in celebratory cheers + enjoyed some ice cold margaritas, the views, and their favorite people.

After some dances, everyone headed out to the back porch to enjoy the sunset while Natalie + Jake soaked in the beauty of their day in a magical field.
