Cancún had always been a special place to Saralin + Josh, and Atelier Playa Mujeres was their favorite gem on the Yucatán. It was the perfect backdrop for their dream Cancún wedding day.

The day began with peaceful rain showers, and the ladies cozied up inside the hotel to get ready while the guys spent the morning golfing at the resort.

The guys returned from golfing to get ready for the ceremony, and then Saralin + Josh were ready for the excitedly awaited first look.

The two shared some euphoric moments together as the rain began to sprinkle down again + then headed in for their ceremony to begin.

After an endearingly emotional + joyful ceremony, Saralin + Josh celebrated their moment with all their people by their side. And there’s only one way to properly celebrate when in Mexico–tequila shots.

Just as if mother nature had planned it, there was a break in the rain long enough for Saralin + Josh to get out on the beach + soak in their wedding day by the ocean.

And just as they headed back in for their reception to start, the rain gave a spectacular poolside show.

Their reception was what all tropical floral dreams are made of. There was no shortage of flower arrangements, romantic candles, personalized touches, beachy textures, and energizing lighting.

After the most explosive first dance fit for royalty, the party really started thanks to Saralin + Josh’s good friend + DJ. It made for a night that will forever go down in history as one of the most epic wedding receptions for two incredible people who light up any room with their zest for life + radiating love for each other.
