Chacier & Angelee
Arrabelle Square at Vail Mountain
Vail, Colorado
July 1, 2023
Angelee + Chacier’s wedding week was an elaborate multi-day celebration leading up to the most awe-inspiring mountaintop wedding day. Festivities began at Angelee’s family home in Denver for their Mehndi Night, which is traditionally when the wedding party + family get henna done before the wedding. Two professional henna artists made sure everyone was adorned in the most gorgeous henna designs for this Vail Indian wedding.
The next evening, all the wedding guests gathered for the Sangeet ceremony, a high-energy celebration with music, dancing, and performances.
The final pre-wedding day celebration was the Haldi ceremony, where family + friends could smear turmeric paste on the bride + groom to be as a symbol of cleansing before the wedding. It was a lively celebration filled with singing + laughter.
It was an early start for the wedding day in Vail as everyone gathered around the village to begin getting ready.
Once they were ready, Chacier + Angelee shared a sweet first look on a bridge over the river in the morning air to begin one of their favorite days.
Then it was time for the baraat, where Chacier rode into the village square on a horse, surrounded by family + friends dancing around him + leading him to the gondola up to the ceremony site.
At 11,564 feet, the Vail Wedding Deck has the kind of view people can only dream about, let alone get married on top of. Chacier + Angelee were wed under a canopy of pink flowers + vines with a breathtaking backdrop of snow-covered peaks + green rolling mountains.
After they officially tied the knot, the newlyweds took the gondola down the mountain to get ready for their reception.
In the Arrabelle Square at Vail Mountain, their wedding reception tent was surrounded by architecture akin to the Swiss Alps, draped in twinkle lights, full of white florals + candlelight.
After everyone enjoyed a cocktail hour at the base of the ski mountain, they entered into the tent to begin the reception festivities.
The first dance left everyone in awe after Chacier spun Angelee around under a canopy of white flowers + flying sparklers.
Everyone enjoyed some heartfelt toasts + special dances.
Once night fell on the reception tent, it was a full spectacle of sparkles + glowing lights as everyone danced the night away under the stars–the perfect ending to Chacier + Angelee’s Vail Indian wedding.
