High school sweethearts have something uniquely worthy of envy; they’ve known each other since they were just kids. They got to see all those awkward preteen years + the rebellious high school escapades + they share one another’s hometowns, knowing everything about what it was like to grow up there.
They feel like they’ve always been a part of the family, and they know each others’ stories like the back of their hands.
Ehbriél + Anton’s story was years in the making, as they watched each other grow up through high school, journeyed together through life’s hardest moments, and began their walks of faith all at once.
Their wedding day began at the church that’s like a home to them, where Ehbriél sings in the worship band every Sunday. They both giddily got ready, awaiting this day + all it would bring after getting officially married 9 months earlier.
They shared a quick prayer around a corner together before seeing each other at the altar.
Their smiles for each other, so full of adoration, brightly lit up the room as they exchanged vows, lit the unity candle, and had their kiss.
The Barn at Wellington, with its gorgeously modern interior + vast open space surrounding it, a perfect view of the mountains in sight–making you just want to let your hair down + run free through the fields, feeling the child within you come alive as the cotton candy skies above light everything in pink–held the party for the rest of the evening.
It was a celebration of family + love as deep as Ehbriél + Anton’s roots reach, making them who they are; the foundation of a tree that will reach far + wide through its branches, creating goodness with every leaf. The way they smile at each other, every time, is a sweet reminder of how loved each one of us is.
