In our hometown of Fort Collins, we are known for our craft lifestyle. Everything here is created + enjoyed locally, while experiencing the natural beauty only Colorado can provide.
For Jeff + Holly’s engagement shoot, I decided to curate a lifestyle session capturing all the best parts of living in Fort Collins while photographing memories together.
It goes a little something like this.
We began in the wide open fields surrounding town with a champagne pop + charcuterie dinner on the Poudre riverside, our most lively + scenic river.
May have found the perfect tree to make out under…
Then, we took a walk around the river to explore more of the trails + dip our toes into the refreshing water.
Holly + Jeff love dancing, so at golden hour, we returned to the fields for some romantic shots.
Also, they like crazy dancing too.
Next, we walked over to the heart of Fort Collins–Old Town, where all the magic happens.
After a tour of the hidden alleyways + vibrant culture, we enjoyed some ice cream at Churn, an inventive, nostalgic ice cream parlor at the public plaza highlighting the character + spirit of Fort Collins, called The Exchange.
The rooftop balconies provided the perfect lookout to view the sunset while Jeff + Holly enjoyed their decadent treats.
These shoots not only capture some really fun portraits of you + your favorite person, but they highlight the simple, everyday moments of life; the sweetest ones to hold onto.
