Their love was rooted in a decade of friendship, being there for each other through the highs and lows of life. Once Jillian + Ian’s love did unfold, it was undeniable they were meant for each other. Their dream was to have a Colorado spring wedding with a joyful, colorful garden theme. After a week of rain in Colorado, everything in the Boulder front range was lush with fresh greenery + blooms during the weekend of Mother’s Day–fitting their theme perfectly.

As Jillian’s finishing touches were applied to her makeup, Ian laced up his nephew’s shoes. Once everyone was ready, they drove up to a stunning lookout spot over Boulder: Sunrise Amphitheater.

Just when everyone thought the rain would never stop, it cleared miraculously for Jillian + Ian’s wedding day; the sun even peeking out during their ceremony.

Jillian was helped into her dress by her tribe of women in the forested ceremony parking lot, which made for a bonding moment full of laughter + anticipation for her reveal.

The most adorable + excited nephews initiated the mountainside ceremony with bubble guns in hand + joyous giggles singing out as they filled the air with bubbles.

Jillian’s best friend, who just happens to be Ian’s sister + a reverend, married the two surrounded by a gorgeous overlook + sprawling pine trees at their Colorado spring wedding.

Jillian + Ian celebrated their beautiful ceremony with their closest people, and then enjoyed the surroundings together as husband + wife for the first time.

Everyone gathered at the Chautauqua Dining Hall, just a short drive down the mountainside, for the wedding reception.

As gifts for the guests + place cards, Jillian + Ian had spent months picking out a personal mug for each guest at their favorite thrift shop.

The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, sweet dances, and lots of cupcakes–the perfect ending to a day filled with so much love, life, and happiness.
