Like many others, the wedding of Amanda & Mustafa had been postponed a year after the COVID global pandemic, and it just so happened that their new wedding date landed a few short weeks after Amanda graduating nursing school, which proved to be one of the most challenging feats in her life. So to say graduating nursing school while planning a Sedalia, Colorado wedding from Milwaukee three years in the making was a milestone in Amanda + Mustafa’s lives is maybe even an understatement.
The ladies began the day getting ready in the stunning presidential suite at the Hilton Denver Inverness, before taking their limo to the wedding venue in Sedalia at Sanctuary Golf Course.
Lindsey Sachs of COLLECTIVE/by Sachs did an incredible job as always having the modern + classy details nailed down by the time everyone arrived at the venue.
Amanda + Mustafa’s love story begins when Amanda was the nurse on call during Mustafa’s shift as a doctor at the hospital one day, and they immediately felt a connection between each other when Amanda showed up for work. To commemorate their story, Amanda gifted Mustafa a scrub hat with the words ‘It was always you’ inscribed inside it.
They celebrated a beautiful Colorado evening with a perfect view of the mountains from the golf course, surrounded by all their favorite people.
The band Raising Caine’s kicked off the evening with the most unbelievable live music, even whipping out choreographed dances by the two main vocal leads.
The evening ended with traditional Middle Eastern dances by all the family combined + smoking cigars fireside with Little Man Ice Cream + late night pizza.
