Sarah + Leland were the high school sweethearts who didn’t date in high school—their love sparked a little later at a summer bonfire, and they started to date shortly after. In their relationship of ten years and counting, this power couple has created so much together, lived all over the world, and even launched a successful business.

One of the places Sarah + Leland lived together was Costa Rica, in a secluded jungle treehouse right on the oceanside. They ran their business from the treetops as they spent their days surfing, swimming, and exploring under the sun. It was a chapter of their story written with extra sweetness.

After Leland proposed, they knew the only place they could imagine getting married was back at their beloved spot in the jungle. So they planned a full week of glamping + adventures complete with all their people for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of a Costa Rica wedding.

This Costa Rica wedding day began with brunch, and then the girls started getting ready in a breezy poolside treehouse while the guys went out for an afternoon surf.

After vows were written, special gifts given with sweet moments shared, and cigars ready, it was time for the oceanside ceremony dreams were made of.

A special memento was presented during the ceremony to honor Sarah’s late father.

After celebrating a moment they had so anticipated, Sarah + Leland went around to visit all their favorite spots on the property—this time as husband + wife.

Meanwhile, their guests enjoyed fresh coconut water, a tropical fruit spread, and poolside ceviche.

Then it was time to head to a whimsical, sparkling pavilion to enjoy a sumptuous feast of local foods and dance the night away under the stars to a vibrant latin band—the most perfect Costa Rica wedding reception.
